Sigalit Landau

In this work, four olive trees are being mechanically shaken in an olive grove. A hailing shower of green, black and red olives falls by the force of the machine down to the ground, creating a cloud of dust.

In the sound-track of this piece — the artist’s own heartbeat resounds, like missiles on top of the noises made by the picking machines, which resemble guns.
