Sigalit Landau

I tried to comment on the social and political implications of the concept "territory". By building penetrating installations from household goods and construction materials and turning them into tents and shelters, I attempted to bear the traces of destruction and violence in the environment.

 

I built the installation “Sandblasting Lighthouse” especially for this exhibition space, taking into account its architecture. I also presented an overview of previous installations, and left behind my work “Fig Swing” at the Witte de With’s stairwell.
